The 6th Annual General Meeting of Wayamba Cancer Society Ltd., was held on 23rd January, 2019 at the Kurunegala Provincial General Hospital Auditorium with its President Mr. D.M.T.B. Dasanayake in the chair.

Administering of five percepts and the sermon was delivered by the Chief Sanghanayake Thero of the Asgiriya Sector, Aggamaha Pandit Granthavachaka Thumbulle Seelakkahandha Nayake Thero.

Dr. Y.G.A.C. Ashoka Sevevirathne, Deputy Director of the hospital and Dr. Niroshan Athulugama, Oncological Surgeon addressed the gathering expressing their gratitude for the excellent and state of the art facilities provided by the society.

All key officials of the previous committee were re-elected for the next year.

The president is his addressed thanked all those who have assisted this great humanitarian project and appealed for the continuous assistance and support in future.
